About Us

Behind every healthcare interaction lies a mountain of administrative complexity — from billing to revenue cycle management — that directly affects care, cost, and outcomes.
At Ember, we’re using intelligent automation to untangle the web of rules and regulations that govern healthcare payments, so providers can stop thinking about codes and restrictions and focus on what matters most: giving their patients the best possible care.

The Mission
Healthcare billing processes are broken. Rules for prior authorization are change constantly, keeping billing teams up at night.
Different payers use different codes for the same treatments, confounding RCM experts. What was once confirmed to be an approval turns into a retroactive denial. All too often, payers deny coverage based on policies not published in any document or database.

Not only is it stressful and frustrating; it’s having a direct impact on patient care delivery and clinical outcomes. 73% of U.S. adults say that delays and denials by insurers are a “major problem,” and 95% of physicians say that arduous prior authorization processes contribute to burnout.

At Ember, we believe the healthcare experience should be different.
The Solution
Ember’s AI-powered platform prevents coverage denials before they happen. Ember continuously tracks the latest payment policies and payor behavior patterns that can make the difference between approval and denial.
Ember documents patients’ visits, reviews their charts, and uses its deep understanding of the payment landscape to dramatically boost approval rates while ensuring revenue integrity. In large-scale benchmarks audited by independent medical professionals, Ember consistently delivers better accuracy than certified medical coders and general-purpose AI.

Built for rapid deployment, Ember can be up and running in a matter of days. There’s no lengthy integration process, and no need for a team of consultants. Providers start seeing value right away — and even more over time, as Ember learns and adapts.
