John Reynolds
John Reynolds, MBA, FACMPE is Chief Executive Officer of the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, one of the region's leading orthopaedic and musculoskeletal healthcare organizations. With more than three decades of healthcare leadership experience, he's known for aligning physicians, operations, technology, and growth to build high-performing organizations.
As CEO, Reynolds leads an orthopaedic platform of more than 100 providers and over 325 employees across its Franklin, Tennessee campus and multiple regional satellite locations. He's widely recognized for his leadership in artificial intelligence, value-based care, and physician enterprise development, positioning the Institute as a national leader in applying AI within specialty healthcare.
That work earned the Bone and Joint Institute the 2025 Innovator of the Year Award from the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives. A Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives, Reynolds holds an MBA from William Carey University, completed Executive Healthcare Leadership training at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and advanced Agentic AI studies through the Harvard Data Science Initiative, and is a past President of MGMA's Financial Management Society.
